The Legend of MF Beards
MF Beards was born from a simple conversation between two individuals: Eric Feuerstein and Brandon Marszalski. As dedicated fans of the beard care world especially the small, micro-batch creators we loved the industry… but we kept noticing the same problems popping up in some of our favorite brands.
Everyone seemed to offer the exact same products. The scents were predictable and repetitive. And too many big-name brands filled their formulas with unnecessary fillers and junk ingredients. One day we looked at each other and said, “How hard can it be to make the stuff we actually want?”
In late December 2023, we dove in headfirst.
Right away, we decided to set ourselves apart. No more boring, safe scents we wanted decadent, indulgent experiences that felt like a treat for your beard (and your senses). Our very first launch included Beard Oil, Beard Balm, and Beard Butter in just four bold mainline scents:
From day one, we set three unbreakable rules:
- Never be out of stock.
- If we launch a scent, every product we make is available in that scent — no half-measures or discontinued favorites.
- Avoid shipping issues at all costs for a seamless customer experience.
We built MFBeards.com from scratch and launched with just those three product lines and four scents, determined to deliver consistency and quality that the industry often lacked.
Building a brand from nothing wasn’t easy. We were up against well-established companies with huge market share, loyal followings, and big marketing budgets.
We shot off rockets hitting sales targets that some might have laughed at in the beginning… but those small wins fueled us.
During those early days, one of us was in Texas while the other was still in South Florida. Eventually, Eric packed up his family and moved to Texas so we could grow MF Beards in one place.
That’s when things really took off. We started hitting local markets, pop-ups, and events to get our products directly into customers’ hands.
Seeing customers light up after trying Buzz’d or Apple Sauced confirmed we had something special.
Today, we’ve grown to 11 incredible scents while staying true to our roots: clean ingredients, full product lines in every scent, and zero compromises.
MF Beards isn’t just a business. It’s our way of giving beard lovers the indulgent, high-quality care they deserve.
